Dr. Rachel Taylor has offered to give us an update on how the bird-ringing project is going and to show us some of the results so far. As more records of colour-ringed Great-, Blue- and Coal-Tits come in, the map of how the birds move around our village is becoming more exciting.

The meeting is at Sian Turner’s home (Llwyn Gwern, opposite the church) next Wednesday (January 12th) from 6:30pm. Hope you can make it.

Also – coming up soon is the annual RSPB “Big Garden Bird Watch” on 29th & 30th January. Last year 18 households in Mynydd Llandygai got involved by counting their garden birds for 1 hour at the weekend, hope we can do even better this year !
